What is a Resume
It’s critical that employers can envision candidates as successful employees. A resume is a summary of your work skills and what you can offer the company. It is the first impression that a potential employer has of you so it’s important to be sure it is professional and includes relevant information.

- Education
- Experience
- Skills
Create a First Draft Resume
The following activity will review the main components included on a resume. We recommend that you create a rough draft of your resume as you learn about each component. The first draft of your resume is important because it lays the foundation for a more polished version of your resume later.
