Description
This course equips mentees with evidence-based skills for thriving in college. Students learn organizational strategies they’ll need to efficiently manage schedules and deadlines, take notes, study for exams, and related skills. They also learn how to overcome negative thinking patterns and traps that stand in the way of effective learning.
This course was developed by Dr. Alexandra Werntz, Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring, and inspired by the work of Professor Daniel T. Willingham (University of Virgina) who generously consulted with us on its application to mentoring.
